Trump not running for president

Do you think Trump withdrawing his candidacy is a good thing?

Do you believe he would have stood a chance at all?

Do you think his withdrawal had anything to do with the tension between him and Obama?

Personally I am happy with Trump withdrawing. I do not believe what-so-ever that he would have been taken seriously as a candidate nor as a president. The US is at a critical point in its history where it needs to really rethink its image to the rest of the world, and I don't really think Trump is the right man to do this. In terms of the elections I don't think many people would have voted for him, nor do I think he is a viable option. His success seems to be based purely on his celebrity, he hasn't really proved that he is worthy of leading the US.

What are your opinions?

 

Yes, and I do not believe he would have done well against Obama, most people I know took of him more as a joke, rather than a serious candidate.

As I stated above, no, probably not.

It was never serious tension, more like political propaganda. Trump will always be a joker, and will probably never stop making jokes about other politicians.

He has more money than any president will ever have, he should just keep making bank and let other people run the U.S.A.

 

It's pretty obvious that he wasn't going to win, he probably was planning on withdrawing from the beginning. Most people think it was just a publicity stunt.

I don't think Obama will win either, I'm just hoping that Ron Paul is the one to beat him.

 

Trump was kind of a joke. It was probably just a publicity stunt to get more people to watch his shows.

We'll see as the date gets closer who is actually running and who isn't.

Trump was not a serious candidate but he was useful to the republicans. He was able to get Obama flustered. He finally got him to release his birth certificate and even cussed him out. A serious candidate would of not been able to do that.

I wasn't really surprised when I heard he wasn't running, at least there will be more focus on the serious candidates now.

 

My parents being republican, i honestly think Trump running was the BIGGEST joke in politics. Although, it does give good publicity for his show, he looks like a lion in the middle of the ocean. He doesn't know jack about politics, all he has is an enormous amount of money.
