recovering acc's

hey all, was wondering if i could get some general info here on people recovering accounts, say you buy an acc change the set email set your own recovs and uve had it for about 4-5 months can the seller of the account still recover it? i heard there was a new change in how accounts have be recovered wherebye it is just done by the email that is set not off IP adress/first email blah blah. anyone confirm?

 

I have no idea how the new system works, but in one of the first major topics here on sythe i heard that the "original IP" still has all the power and that if you type in the wrong email twice to get access during the recovery it just takes you to the old recovery page.

This is my understanding of it so far, and i can clearly remember people saying stuff like , new failed recovery system is failed.

 

hahah thankyou alot, yeah i just tried to log into my turmoil pure that i bought off here for 200m, my email didnt work (which was registered last time i logged in) then i entered the email of the apparent "trusted member" from sythe and it sent the recov info through to his email lol so he clearly recovered it and registered his email.... far out i hate cunts.

 

So how does it work, if they have the same info, not sure at all.

 

the original owner can ALLWAYS recover the account.

 

dude u just need to have the ip and you can recover your account


if you are one of those pro at recovering accounts it will be hard as fuck to recover other people accounts

 

Yeah, also if you're recovering from the IP you're created it on, it can be recovered.

 

yeh original ip seems to be the deciding factor haha, was browsing the account selling section and noticed a couple people claiming that its 100% safe to buy their accounts because the new recovery update came out and if your email is registered your 100% safe, sensed something was off there haha.

 

Thats why I don't buy accounts anywhere.

 

yeh ive had over 600m worth of acc's recovered on me and 3 banks cleaned from people i paid for services that were meant to be trusted and legit, lol.

 

Yeah original account creation date and IP are the major factors when Jagex decides if they are giving the account back.

All accounts are at risk for recovery and be careful who you trade with.
