55 Slayer: Obby Mauler

Hey guys I made an obby mauler recently. It is coming along great and I'm very pleased with the stats so far. Now I need to work on probably one of the most difficult challenges for an obby mauler. That is 55 slayer for a slayer staff. I've always hated slayer personally and always found it a pain. Basically, I'm unsure how to speed this process up. Most my tasks are in non-multi combat areas so cannon is pretty useless. What do you guys recommend I do to speed up the slayer process? Should I just SW it? All help appreciated!


*Note*: It would take 500 zeals from 30-55 slayer. Also note that my slayer level atm is only 15.

 

Hmm ring of recoil would help you, kill faster, posiened weapons, plus cannon (you already mentioned cannon) 30-40 shouldn't be to hard its like 50-55 thats going to take forever and be a pain. I mean you could always just range your tasks right? Or mage them if you have hella cash.. Obby maulers need 70range anyway right? Oh btw leafbladed sword is pretty dope

 

I would suggest ranging or maging all of your tasks, along with a cannon. You could also invest in a Slayerbot and range as your combat style. The slayer bots are very reliable you could get it done quick.

 

Thanks for responding to a lot of my threads I appreciate all your help . I'd be doing this legit since my account is only 46 hp and can't really handle that many hits. I don't think a bot would be able to perform as well as if I did it legit. I might try maging.

Slayer is easy, and 55 takes no time at all...

True, however, as an obby mauler it takes a lot longer and isn't as straightforward.

OT: Soul wars was suggested, I honestly wouldn't do that. Use the zeals for something else. Poison and recoil, as mentioned, are your best bet.

 

Cannon will help lots, Slayer isn't too hard.

 

I'm pretty sure you can get 1000 slayer exp from the Varrock museum basement. After that, penguins/zeals, I guess

 

Just do Smoking Kills as soon as possible, you should be able to get the points for 10k slayer xp twice before 55, and just train the mauler while you Slay. Simple.

 

Smoking kills requires 85 combat. Being an obby mauler, there's no way he'll be able to do that.

 

Penguin Hide N Seek could help.

 

At very low attack, defence, hp & prayer? Yeah uuhhmm no?

 

If only you knew what an obby mauler was.... OT; Weekly penguins would help a ton. I think I'm going to avoid SW and do this by hand.

I'd be doing this legit.

 

You can use a cannon even if it's not multi combat, that could help you kill one at each time + poison + ring of recoils + get all lamps/quest lamps/book of knowledge on slayer and you should reach your goal soon

 

Slayer won't take long man just gotta be patient
