Reporting Other Players: Do you?

I was botting somewhere (not saying where. ), and I realised there were a shit-load of people with rune chainbodies and names like "0432908384" and "fjsjdfijec3".

To be honest, these aren't legitimate accounts from people on Sythe, and it was really annoying me considering it is probably gold farmers.

My question to you guys: Do you report other players at all, or only on occasion or what?

I myself, have never, but I'm considering starting if I see more of these kinds of people.

I don't report other players because I'm afraid it might indirectly raise suspicion on my own account somehow. So better just letting the other botters bot.

I bot, and even if I didn't, I wouldn't care.

 

I bot idiots who alch at the GE or something. Other than that, nope.

 

I don't, unless they've flamed me for some reason.

Or if I'm playing legit at the time and I'll see a high level botting, I'll report them cause it's funny to own the high-level botters.

In massive well known botting spots I dont, but in places where they actually bother me playing legit I do report them.

 

I rarely play legit and couldn't care less.

Mutes on the other hand, I hand out quite arbitrarily.

 

If I'm somewhere and the guy has his bot on aggressive (attacks monsters already in combat) and it's stealing my kills and exp I'll report him. I'll also report people who run their mouth, just because I think it's funny to get idiots muted.

 

If you report others, Jagex looks into your account as well - so it's basically like you're reporting yourself. When I first started botting, I had botted for about 4 hours a day for 6 days using only one script and then I decided to report someone while running RSBuddy (but no script). I was banned within hours of the report. After my ban was up, I continued using the same script I used before I was banned, and have been doing so for over three months on multiple accounts (so it's not because the script was bad).

I report the people spamming at GE and scammers. I sometimes report the people that all swarm over one tree, because its annoying as heck on F2P.

If im training combat or whatever, and there is one or two other guys, i wont report.

 

I just reported some1 for botting, but I normally don't.

I report the obvious botters and the ones who take my botting spots. Gotta get my moderator status up yo!!!!

if i see a player named 4e98023yi i will report them, because in the end they are killing the game, and by reporting accounts liek that it gives jagex more work to go through all those reports and less likely they will go for me
but if i see a player lik "zezima" i wont report because they are botting for personal use. not mass production of gold to sell on their site.
