Proper Way to undergo a MSN change?

Hey everyone, I am looking for any tips and Feedback I should know when trying to undergo a MSN address change. My current MSN has no relation to my Sythe username at all and I would like something more similar to my Sythe username. I currently have a hush email account that I would like to start using as my main msn. I am looking for tips from people that have or know how other people usually go through this change.

What I am planning on doing: Making it known in my sig that my current MSN is owned by me but I am using another MSN as my main one.
Posting comment on old MSN saying to add me on new msn.

I don't know what I should do, because I don't want people to get confused, is there any type of protocol or something so people don't suspect something suspicious, or do I simply ditch everything and put new MSN in sig without saying really anything?

Also should I always have some note saying that my old msn is one of my msn's I just don't use it or something?

Not planning on changing it right now, but possibly in a few days.

I think you should definitely change it in your sig, stating your new msn.

I also think for the next 2 weeks - 1 month, you should have a note in your Sig that [email protected] is your old msn. This way people will know to hopefully add your new one.

Theres no protocol for it, but I know people that state all their previous MSNs, stating that it's full and to add their new ones.

Some tips would be with your old msn, to put a note saying to add your new MSN. If you can't do that, then you could have both MSNs open at the same time, and tell people that msg you to add your new one.

I just recently updated my MSN (separated personal from business). The best way to go through this is to re-add all contacts on your new MSN, then block & delete them on your old one, while updating your sig on Sythe.

What I did when I changed mine, was updated all of my threads with my new MSN. PM'd everyone on sythe that I wanted to have my new MSN. Posted around letting people know my MSN had changed, eg, when buying gold, I'd post my new MSN. You are also a $50 donor, you could change your usertitle.

Stick it in large letters, saying "NEW MSN - ALWAYS AS FOR PM" or something of that sort. Also for a few days on your old MSN make your title on that "New MSN - (Insert new MSN here)".

Don't forget to add it in all of your threads a long with a "Always ask for a PM" and you should be fine.

Since you're a $50 donator, put your new msn in your sig. Go to your profile, run a search on your posts for old email and change them, put new email in sig.

Save current contact list and import it to your new msn.

Run a patch that allows you to run 2 msn's at once, then put your display name on your old address as "My new msn is such and such please add me"

I have a patch that allows me to run two MSN's at once already, however I do not know how to import my contact list. Does anyone have a guide or can explain it to me? Thanks for the help everyone too.

I like my msn just as it is, but well, it's my real name.

Unless the e-mail was compromised, just use both for sometime and update it everywhere.
