Stats for staking range

I've never really range staked on a pure before, which stats would be better?

70 range
99 hp
1 def

or

99 range
70 hp
1 def

 

i believe the 99 hp is better

 

If your going to use the Morrigan javelins you should go for a high hp and moderate range. 99 range/70 hp would lose a lot to other range stakers with high hp but it would beat range stakers using defense/armor. There probally is a way to mathmatically figure out which one is better than the other. To figure it out...

Get a max hit calculator
Type in your first set of test range/hp levels (99 range/70 hp/1def)
Find the weapon/ammo you will be using to stake with.
Take the max hit with that weapon and divide it by 2
That number will be your average hit,
now repeat that process with (70 range/99hp/1def)
Compare how much higher the average hit is with 99 range
Then test out the median of your average hits (this will be used as an example for your opponents average hits). Then figure out how long the median average hit would take to do 700 damage and 990 damage. See which would win or win by a larger margin vs the median and then test it against other range/hp combos.

 

i think you should get 78 range 90hp

 

the 99 hp one.
