i personally don't smoke, but i see no problem with people who do. but I somewhat think toast is right. media has kind of made smoking weed the "cool" thing to do. don't smoke because its "cool". smoke because you want to. smoking isn't cool, not smoking isn't cool.

 

Alone or strictly with 1-2 other people.

Like some posts above, some people are fucking annoying and sketch when they're baked.

for the record...the only people who ever bring up people trying to look "cool" with weed are those who haven't/don't smoke it.

People who smoke pot dont say that about each other, because no one cares and no one is trying to look "cool".

It would be like if i was sitting down with a group of friends and your standing up with a group of friends and i say to someone in my group that your trying to look cool for standing up. When, in fact, all you were doing was wanting to stand up (not tryin to look cool).

Non-smokers say stupid things and make ridiculous insinuations about smokers to try and help themselves cope with the fact that other people are doing something that they are too scared to experience for themselves rather than swallowing everything the government/media jam down your throat.

and lastly, the media are the ones making people like you say that smokers are trying to be "cool". they are not saying we are the "cool" ones. In fact, they are trying to eliminate any possible positive attitudes towards it to accommodate their own little hidden agendas. thats what those stupid ass ads are all about. They plant a little seed of bias against pot in your head so when the time comes to confront what your mind has been poisoned to hate (pot), the result is unfounded prejudice/condemnation towards pot smokers

 

Alone. It's a lot more relaxed and a great chance to let your mind explore. Smoking is still my activity of choice with friends though, I enjoy both.

 

When I used to smoke a lot (before I got a real job and wanted to do something productive with my life), I preferred being alone, or else being alone not smoking would just make everything boring lmao Also, taking a few hits at parties and shit would mello you the fuck out. Just a few though, or else you end up sitting with the fags who won't drink at all, but end up passing out by like 10:30 cuz they smoked too much.

Imo, anyone who hasn't tried the drug, try it once at least. If you're at a party and the shits being passed around, puff puff give motherfucker. It won't kill you and no one has ever and will ever overdose off of it.
But, wasting countless dollars on it to just smoke it away day after day is not a life you want to have. Don't make it the center of your life, or you will go nowhere.

Alone is preferred on occasion i smoke in large groups, 12-14 people in the same room with a couple bongs going around and we each fill a bowl, its a nice way to get blasted. but alone, u can stare into space roaming around in your own thoughts without somebody interupting it. i tend to enjoy it alone i come across more highdeas

 

"non smokers" say the most ridiculous things just to cope with not smoking? dude, are you that full of yourself? you make it sound as if there are two different species. and trust me, the media is glorifying weed. maybe not tv, but you can't deny that movies and especially music do. i've seen 13 year olds lying, saying they get high just so they can be like wiz khalifa, or mac miller. and i agree with you, the people that lie ARE the ones who don't actually smoke. the people who think its cool ARE the "posers". But the fact that there ARE POSERS shows that smoking weed is viewed as cool.

and dude, i have no disrespect towards people who smoke. I've been to tons of parties where everyone was smoking, I just choose not to for personal reasons. Although I don't consider weed a "drug drug", I choose to stay away from it because of family members abusing other drugs in the past. NOT because I'm insecure about my own ability to smoke weed, and NOT because the media shoves bullshit down my throat.

 

well, i respect how you have responded. All i ask is to not talk down about marijuana or the people who use it. and dont make any ridiculous assumptions like that people do it to be cool. I have loved Wiz/mac for a long time. But unforunately since fucking black and yellow and shit, the fan base has turned to complete shit. Use to be a beautiful close-knit community of stoners, now its a bunch of faggot children like you said. Not only have they ruined the fan base, but they just look the rest of the pot smoking community look bad. fuck those kids.

 

Me and my 3 other friends smoke weed together all the time. Any more than 6-7 people though and it's just not as fun.

angus07, I wasn't talking bad about anyone here, but you cannot deny that there are a lot of "posers" so to say like you said in your post above, that is who I targeted my post towards.
