    Staking: Levels of stress?

    Well I was just thinking over this as I was staking on one of my maxed stakers recently. I went from 1000M to 2147M, but that process took many stressedful up and downs. Generally, video games do not relax you, but tense you up, etc. I was wondering if staking is significantly more stressful than say; playing black ops, or even pking. With staking there are massive amounts of wealth risked, either won or lost. Do you guys act any differently while staking and how do you feel when you've lost a lot of gp and you're significantly down/cleaned?

    staking big stakes = stressful
    high risk pking = stressful
    cod = not stressful
    regular pking/low stakes = not stressful

    I don't even look at my screen when i stake. i just look whenever i think either my opponent or myself has died. It raises my heart rate immensely. And there's really nothing worse than getting cleaned.....nothing...

    Regular boxing is pretty stressful because it's pretty much luck, and it really annoys me when I keep losing -_-

    Otherwise, I find it generally fun.

    It only becomes stressful to me when i go on a losing streak, 3 or more in a row and i'm somewhat angry at myself.

    Small stakes are of course no problem but when you start losing them in consecutive stakes it can get insane. Today I was literally one stake away from being cleaned. That fucked with my system a lot. Generally I dont find staking that fun due to the possibility of losing millions/being cleaned.

    It's because you're either going to win or lose something big, no matter what you'll be stressed in ANY game if this was the case.

    Quite the opposite for me, when I do 100 mil stakes I usually shake abit and feel a faster heart beat rate which in turn excites me. I only become stressed if I lose 5-6 matches in a row.

    Boxing stakes are stressful.. no matter how much you're winning by there's ALWAYS that chance the other guy will come back. I've been in positions where I'm on 3/4+ HP and I have the guy 1-2 hits from being finished.. and then bam... I'm hitting 0s left, right and centre while he makes his come back to beat me.

    I find stakes to be very stressful, i lost 100mil one day and the next i won 300mil, its the feeling when you win that makes it worth it.

    When im risking bank loot PKing i dont really stress out that much ever, but even when im staking like 50m or so my stomach sinks if i start losing. I hate boxing for this reason and usually only do rapier stakes as they are quick.

    RS is more stressful than COD unless you're on a huge killstreak.

    Staking is the most stressful aspect of Runescape as, your gambling most of your bank in most cases ive been up and down and lost so much but then won so much.

    I do think its more stressful then playing on Xbox.
