Partyhats dropping under 1b?

does anyone think that partyhats will go back down? i believe they will. i think the huge price right now is just free trade's bump on the economy. what do you think they will finally settle at, if they do?

 

Course they are...specially since theres a shitload of bots out there.

 

The more bots will be, the more phats will rise.

so much gold is being plugged into this game everyday because of botters that the value of gp is decreasing. I personally think all partyhats will do is rise because players have more disposable income

 

what the hell? all the bots do is make more money, which they use to fight each other to try and buy the partyhat - driving prices up. by the way, the only partyhats that are being introduced in the game are from people recovering old accounts - prices WILL go up.

Nah, I dont think it will ever drop below 1b, just that the value of GP will drop and items will cost less, but theres only a set about of party hats, so they will just go up in price

Party hats will never drop unless free trade is removed. At the moment, party hat prices will rise due to economy rising. Therefore, it is a good time to purchase party hats due to you can merch them for more $$.

 

Party hats will fluctuate between 2 levels of the market, however ultimately they will never settle at below 1b ea.

When something is discontinued and still sought after the same amount, it will never drop if the market is still being introduced with the primary commodity being rsgp.

 

Its not only bots. I never remember PvM being such a massive aspect of the game in 04/05/06/07 as it is now. We have monsters/bosses etc which all drop items worth around and upwards of 1b gp. I know some will say it's just relative to the inflated price of gp but back in the day looting a whip or piece of barrows armour when they were all worth 5m+ (when 5m+ was a great sum of money) was a notable achievement. I don't think 10m back then could equate to 1b now.

 

All raw materials that bots collect and boss drops and stuff will drop. This is usually what should happen because the Supple > Demand.

However, phats will increase because of all the gp bots are putting into the game. And it's not like there are anymore new partyhats. The number of partyhats in the game is decreasing.

Inflation makes the phats go UP.
