Switch Emails From Buyer to Seller

So, I've recently have sold an account to Extinct and the sale went well. We both decided that it would be beneficial to have his email registered to the account. Here's how it went:

Seller:

1. Goes to "Account Management"
2. Goes to "Email Registration"
3. Enters the Buyers' Email as the New Email

An email confirmation will be sent to both the current email address and then to the new email address. [Seller and Buyer's Email]

Seller:

1. Clicks link to verify Email Change

Now that the email is verified on the Seller's end the deal goes on. The information is given. Now:

Buyer:

1. Clicks link to verify his email after receiving username/password from Seller

*The link to verify is sent in the confirmation email*

That's how our deal went and it went very smoothly. Just thought I'd share a method account selling to those selling accounts.

I'm pretty sure this would only work on some accounts. Newer ones need an e-mail address to login, and I'm not sure if you can register with one e-mail and then switch it to another.

 

I can see that now...I guess it'd only work with username logins.

Thanks for pointing that out though.
