Gold is Dropping by the Day.

Im sure they can also banned use of VPN's while playing RS if they can ban a whole countrys IP range from playing.

Well based on HISTORY ,

The value of RSGP has never increased.
You will find that all this major gold sites who sells RSGP at premium prices lowering their prices every now and then to gain more sales but never putting the prices back up.

Its due to the competitiveness, and the prices... and mind you with extensive research.. you will find that Chinese that work in the gold farms work for $1 an hour or less.

Prices back in the first free trade era went from $40 during RSC days to about $15 and steadily dropped until $4/mil as far as I could remember before they took free trade out completely.

And back then the best way to earn RSGP was to RC natures excluding staking/merchanting and other methods that isn't skill-related.

Things have not changed much in terms of money-making in RSGP.. but the prices have dropped quite abit. You will also find that new players suffer alot more then we used to


Prediction: RSGP will be monopolised by the big guys , the rich will get richer, the poor , poorer. And definately it will drop. Just like real world economy.

 

i believe that the return of free trade has just made such a big bump that people are struggling to recover. eventually the prices will return to a solid line, as with everyone buying at low prices, the demand goes up, causing the price to go up, and when it's too high, people stop buying, causing the demand to go down, which will in turn re-drop the price. it will (hopefully) balance out in the end.
