Sythe rules, explain this to me please

Okay, I don't get it...

How is telling someone how to get something free an advertisement, while offering to sell something not? (a copy of the post i am referring to can be seen at mmowned.com)

Under the primary definition, my thread does not fit the term, though it may be considered matching for the secondary or tertiary definitions, but then again, all the posts in the forum would fall under definitions 2 and 3
