Ipod touch 3g wifi help

Not sure if anyone has this but i guess il try my luck

i bought a jailbroked ipod touch through a ad listing in my city and it will not let me join my wifi.. it asks for a password (i only got a wep key) so i typed it anyways and it says im connected on the network but it still shows a locked paddlelock sign beside it.. i tried google and couldnt find any help there so if you can help me out that would be great.

also anything i shouldnt do with a jailbroken ipod? sorry im new to having a ipod touch and never had a iphone :huh:

 

Try to contact the person you got it from.
It is best to buy an iPod/iPhone then jailbreak it yourself, as you know everything that has been done to it.
