Trying to figure out what I did wrong - Banned

Hey,

I just had an account banned (14 days - Macroing Minor) and was using RSbot's Master Farmer Thief script. I was only on the script like, 30 mins or so. I was kind of babysitting, everything was going good, than I was reading a website, clicked back to check on bot and I was logged out, tried to log back on and it said account disabled.

Is this just a really bad script? Really bad place to bot? Anyone have any idea what happened? Or could it be that I botted Flax on it like, 10 hours yesterday and the day prior? I felt that was decently safe, botted flax from rsbots.net free script, got like 10k Flax or so..

This is all I have done on this account, I am pretty new to botting, haven't done it sense RS classic.

Was also botting Dungeon on my main when other acct got banned, was using Idungpro, nothing has happened there, do you think that this is safe? I have also used RSbots Dung thing (god it sucks for the price) last night, no problems so far.

Any ideas / Help would be appreaciated.. Thanks..

Edit: I also read something about jagex banning everyone and seeing who trys to recover right away to see whos legit, should I try to appeal? Another thread says trying to appeal has resulted in macroing minors becoming majors. Also to add, as some have been trying to speculate what achieves macroing minor, account was members, and account was veteran, has/had ears / scythe.

You just happened to be unlucky enough to throw up a red flag. It's mostly by chance. On my main, I have prolly botted for more than 500hours in the past month and am still not banned. So it just depends. I was also running the bots for like 6-15 hours too.

 

Thanks for reply, anyone else have any ideas/speculation? More curious than anything, and for future to be able to attempt to avoid it.

Should I lay low on botting dung on my main sense this account was banned? I heard they will check up on some other accounts once one is flagged/banned whichever.

 

unlucky tbh, im pretty sure you cant get banned that quick so it may be from another bot you used awhile ago

You most likely got banned because you botted flax picking the day before. Flax picking has one of the highest ban rates.

 

Ok, that kind of makes sense and is sort of what I was thinking, it was probably more of a coincidence that I had just started thieving master farmer when it went through...

 

I would say because of the flax also, my guess is the flaxer threw up a few red flags and they was watching you closely becuase that is to quick to be banned.

and to avoid bans just find out what has high ban rate (flax) and steer clear from it. iv never been banned and botted 10-12 hours a day for a while now. its just luck of the draw.. and not botting flax

 

Did you babysit the bot during the flax picking? Probably not, right? Might have been getting a lot of reports there if you never talk I guess. When I bot on my main I always babysit it by glancing over at the second monitor (where I always have the chat part of the RS window visible) now and then to reply if someone keeps talking to me. I at least hope this will make sure I never get suspected/banned.

 

Master farmer and picking flax have high ban rates, why the hell are you botting stuff that nets barely 50k/phr ?

Also concerning your Dungeneering bot from rsbots.net, get kikos for $10, its heaps better.

I'm guessing people went hunting and you got a ton of reports, I've seen it happen..... A bunch of people reporting a single botter. You just got unlucky I guess. That is why you always bot supervised, I make sure public chat is visible when I'm studying or on Youtube.

 

I don't think master farmer has a high ban rate, I could be wrong though.

Botting flax is most likely what caused you to be banned, it has an insanely high ban rate. You'd be lucky not to get rolled back.

Idung Pro is very safe to bot IMO. You won't get reported, and there are no randoms. People have ran it for days and haven't been banned, so unless your very unlucky It's one of the safer bots to suicide.

The free flax script might have been detected by the server, but no one really knows how bots are caught.

Using paid bots in smart locations can keep the bot going for months

 

I always suicide, so far i've been suiciding herb/autofighter/autoslayerpro/mining/fishing on different backup accounts and be my main. Still not ban. Got my second backup account to 99 atk/str last night , tonight is 99def.

 

rsbots are free, scripts are in the open for jagex to analyze, and rsbots client is easily detectable using the macro detection.

if you want to bot i suggest Nexus. they are still ban able, but like 600% less than rsbots scripts.

 

Where did I say this was my main? I said it was a veteran account and was a member. I have like 10-15 different accounts with scythe/bunny ears, I got them for all my accounts when they dropped... And no, not mad, was just curious to help to avoid next time, the free scripts and flax thing makes sense. Main reason I was botting things like that was just because I was newer to botting and trying to get a feel for it.

 

There are some paid bots for Nexus that are very user friendly if your looking for a safer experiment to get a feel for botting.
