Negative credit paypal. Help!

Hello.

I sold 300m to a user on sythe for 210$. A few days later I suddenly see Im in negative 210$ on my paypal account because I transfered the money to my bank account. I am in a negative credit because he said it was an unauthorized demand or something. I tried to provide paypal with proof that I delivered the rsgp, but they wont believe me.

This is fucking bullshit, Im not gonna give back 210$ for something I gave to the buyer.

Is there anything I can do to avoid paying it back to paypal? I think he said that his credit card was used by someone else or something, why the FUCK do I have to suffer for that? Even though its a lie, that he actually scams me, it shouldnt be like that at all. That the seller has to suffer.

Please help me. He even game me the money as a gift, I didnt know it could be chargebacked when it was given as a gift.

If theres nothing I can do, what happens if I just ignore the negative credit?

Bull shit dude, but how old are you? If you don't pay the negative credit (which I never fucking would) you'll get collection calls. If you're a minor they will just cancel your account.

Give customer support a call, if you don't get any help just try again. I was in the negative a while ago and never heard from them, not paying because someone else is a greedy prick.

 

I have my credit card info added there. Im 19. Im thinking of canceling my credit card, and order a new one. This way they wont be able to withraw funds from my card.

Right now Im thinking of never using paypal again, worst bullshit Ive ever experienced. No way if Im paying.

 

The problem with this is that if you used your real information eg. Name, address etc.

PayPal will send your info off to a debt collecting agency who will hound you until they get their money back.

It sucks, It's gay, but unfortunately thats what happens.

 

Give their customer service a call and say that you did pay the person but he charged the money back. Be adamant that you did infact pay him, for future reference I vid all transactions from start to finish, I got a 500$ chargeback once and it was dropped because I had sufficent evidence. I'm sorry about your situation, having gone through it before the best course of action is to talk to them about it and try to come up with the necessary proof.

 

Prime reason why more and more sellers are now going thro WU and PlayerAuctions. Too many kids doing charge backs and its fucking the community.

 

I personally am going to use a 'Buy Now' button through paypal. It pretty much nullifies chargebacks.

!!!NEVER!!! do trades through gifts. Always do it through buying an item. and always take SS's. Also get the person to put in the note to seller section that they have already recieved the goods and will not make a chargeback dispute.

 

Expect non stop calls from a collection agency, it sucks. If it is not Paypal themselves attempting to call then they sold it off to someone else to attempt to collect on. Paypal takes a slight hit and get paid by another company to take the claim and attempt to get the money, in this case nothing will often happen with this small little portion of money. Now if it is Paypal ( I never have had any claims from Paypal, I never use it) then they have the option to send you to small claims court, at which a judge will order you to pay the $210.

 

Okay, I've sendt a detailed mail to paypal. Waiting for them to respond now.

 

Why do people still use paypal like this -.-

 

Paypal wont accept for two reasons:
1) Paypal looks down on virtual goods being traded.
2) Paypal hates when people abuse the gift system, because it screws paypal out of fees.

You most likely will have to pay back paypal or face collections.:/

Avoid using Paypal for all rs transactions if possible.

I dont see how this paypal button reduces the chance of getting charged back from idiots.

 

I don't see how either, it's still a payment.. just a direct one without needing an email. There's always going to be room for fraud on paypal, no matter how the trade is done..

Sorry it's such a headache OP. I've gone through countless chargebacks, they are hard to win. Best of luck though, keep trying with paypal because every rep helps differently from my experience.
