AP Tests

Anyone here take AP Exams?

How do you think they were?

I took Calc, Literature, and Statistics.

Prediction:

Calc= 4/5
Literature= 3/4
Statistics= 1 (I concentrated my attention towards the picture I was drawing. whoops)

 

Took Lit. Think I probably got 8s on the essays and 5-10 multiple choice wrong for an easy 5. Taking Stat, Physics, Calc BC, Macro-econ (studying out of school) next year.
Got a 5 on Euro History last year.

It's weird how you chose not to try on the stat because if you are interested in economics at all you need stat AP to skip a year of mundane microeconomical equations

 

Oh well the reason I did not try on Statistics is that I did not know it. The course was taught through an uncoordinated online provider, which had no structure, so I exhibited minimal care for that class within the first month.

I thought my essays were pretty strong for Literature too. The poetry and prose were all contemporary--much more ideal--and there were no surprises; however, I am expecting an awful curve/multiplier. What book did you use for your essay?

 

I took AP world today, it was quite possibly the worst test that I have ever taken.

I had to sit there for 4 hours, though I was done in 2. I do think however, that I did pretty well on the test.
I studied for so much for the test though. I took the day before the test off from school to study.

 

I took AP government few years ago, and got a 3.

 

I took Bio and AB Calc. Wish I had taken BC Calc instead of Bio but what ever. 4-5 on Calc. No idea on bio. I find AP tests completely stupid but they give you college credit so what ever.

 

Number 5 on the Calculus FRQ was bullcrap. I couldn't find the darn 'T'..

Bio has a ridiculous amount of information; I am glad I never took it.

O ok that makes sense not trying on it then; just make sure you cancel it/don't send it to colleges.

I used Hamlet on the literature, not sure if all essays were the same but mine said the goal of life is justice. My 3 body paragraphs were about Hamlet searching thoughtfully and philosophically to best determine what is the most just action, Hamlet deciding the most just action is to kill Claudius and doing that, and Hamlet being able to accept death, something he was once very afraid of, only after justice has been completed.

 

Even the smartest BC student wasn't able to do it, so don't sweat it. My teacher showed me how to do it and it was rather simple but got kinda annoying and ugly. I got the first two parts just fine. The third one was the bitch.

Haha thanks. It's not my nature as much as my nurture in this case. I go to one of the top ranked prep schools in the country so, while my english course isn't technically an AP course, I have an (especially) amazing teacher and we read all of the "classic" books that fit the essay topics and write a lot of essays. Also, the curve on the exam is pretty good so you should be fine.

 

Just took the Ap Govt. exam and I thought it was really easy.
