Fourth marijuana conviction gets man life

I'm just wondering how much information is missing from the story above. The media does tend to suck and leave things out that can be big.

 

Thats so fucked up, he gets a life sentence for distributing marijuana, there are people that get 1/4 of that first degree murder and child molesters and rapists that get a few years and a slap of the hand and they get out and do the same thing over and over again. America disgust me.

 

Only some states do, most infamously California.

 

Waste of a jail cell and Tax dollars....

I wonder who came up with, let's put someone away for life if they light fire to a natural plant and suck in.

Brilliant idea... I honestly feel sorry for these people in a way, some murderers, and rapists get more lenient sentences.

I think this charge is completely unfair, though he may be a repeat offender, life in prison for possession with intent to sell is blasphemy..

That is sad, I don't smoke marijuana nor have I tried it but In my opinion it should be legal, a reason they also don't legalize marijuana is because of the FDA. It would get rid of all the drug companies who sell pain killers. (BILLIONS down the drain)

RANDOM FACT: A marijuana strand cures cancer which would get rid of cancer research which is BILLIONS of dollars.
I personally know someone who is a cancer specialist who says the "cancer research" department money goes straight to the head guys.
Cancer Cured? many other articles just use google.

There will always be a business for pain pills and the such, because some people will simply never go near marijuana.

I personally would stand up for marijuana any day, seeing that it cures so many problems. It's a great medicine in a judgmental society.

 

The reason they gave him a life sentence is because they get pissy when people don't follow their fucked up laws. This guy did this for a living so the only way to get him to stop doing it is to lock him up for life. This is sad...

 

You guys aren't looking at the big picture, he isn't receiving his sentence for a marijuana charge he is receiving it because of his cumulative criminal record and the circumstances in which he was being put under arrest.
He obviously was not "corrected" if he is committing the same crime over and over agian.

He deserves to rot, people like this walking the streets just isn't good.
