Do playauctions charge fees to buyers?

I thought they didn't? I read in a few places here people saying they charge fees to buyers if buying over 500$?

No, they don't have fees for BUYERS.

The fees are for SELLERS - depending on the game and type of transaction.

For RSGP through PP it's 9.99% + $1.99.

Yes they do. I just sold my WoW account for 110$ and I'm recieving $97.03. I'll take fees anyday over having a chance of being scammed.

 

Does it matter if its an item or in-game currency?
I'm not too good with % you think you can tell me how much the fees
would cost if I were to buy something over 700$ via PP on PA?

 

You're right. The fee is for sellers, not buyers.

how does the PA payment confirmation work for people buying items
I've already verified my account but I'm new, and wondering if I will
be required to give other personal information before any payments of mines
goes through. I've heard things like liscences and SSN?
