That would work I assume, considering it's only Paypal tracking the 20k+ accounts and collecting taxes. I'm not sure on this though.

This statement is true. You can claim that on taxes if you want but $500 will go unseen by the government so I wouldn't worry about that. But if I was a active gp seller I would look into it a little more. It all depends on how much you are making which will catch the eye off the GOV! so $500 is nothing to worry about in the market of trillions of dollars.
