Gas prices

In belgium here its so expensive.

 

You guys should think yourselves lucky. You think $5 a gallon is outrageous? In the UK It's about $9.70 per gallon after conversion. You seriously have nothing to bitch about..

The USA actually has some of the lowest oil/gas prices in the world. The cost of oil will only continue to go up until we decide to tap into our reserves. I doubt we'll see a new fuel become the mainstream until we're out of oil, unfortunately. As long as the oil companies are making money from oil, they won't stop bleeding this planet dry.

Just because it costs more in other parts of the world doesn't make it any less crazy to pay 5$ a gallon.

What did you expect with an exhaustible, non-renewable resource that is well on it's way to being used up?

Supply is lowering, demand is rising.. I don't get what you find so "crazy".. especially since the US has pretty much the lowest prices in the world.

I wish America invested more into biodiesel. Cheap, easy, environmentally friendly. The only bad thing about biodiesel is it doesn't give as much power so it'd be hard to use it with truck drivers.

$3.94 where I live, plus if you have a reciept from buying something from the store, we get a 3-10 cents off gas, depending on what it is that day.

 

atleast its going down though, hopefully it heads down to 3.50 or less

The economy right now is TERRIBLE!!! I remember when the gas price per gallon was at 80 cents for a little bit and stayed stable at around $1.08-$1.09

Don't really have to worry since my parents pay for my gas...

I had to fill up my Denali earlier today and I got 18 gals for 75.00 and that only filled it up to 3/4 of the tank. Some stations only let you put in $75 when using a CC, hence I only got 3/4 of the tank filled.

 

Gas is supposed to go that high. However, prices will now be based on the Osama incident.

Gas is like $3.40 here.

 

In the rest of the world we use the metric system.

In Australia it's been well over a dollar per liter, like, $1.30 or so (3.785 liters in a gallon, $1.30/L is the same as $5/gallon) for ages now. Americans think they have it tough. Get over it.

Edit: And this is for standard unleaded petrol. Not premium bullshit or whatever.

 

I paid 1.56/litre for premium the other day... killed me =@. Where is this magical $1.30 bowsers at haha ?
