Don't Lend Ur Items!

You can't equip lent weapons once you jump over the ditch I don't think.

 

Jagex have stated several times on HLF that if something like this does happen (usually it's just a story) providing proof of it happening will greatly help you in getting the item back.

 

What does HLF stand for?

 

He was just trying to scare you; no such glitch exists.

 

Maybe that's not what he was talking about?

Everyone is assuming this.. but you cannot be certain.

Anyways, a lent item is a completely seperate item.. Its different Id number and everything..

So its just like your phat dissapearing, and them getting a copy until the times up..

Hey, don't be affraid, this glitch is patched some days or weeks ago.
The glitch is the following:

People ask you to come to the wildy for a 'pk' vid or whatever, than they tell you you dont have to take valueable stuff in. They show you a large payment wich they would pay u after the ''vid''. Right before entering the wildy, they ask you to lend a rare untill logout, its just lending, so no problem.
But than within the wildy, the player offers you a armour set or sumting of 3pieces, than kills you, when ur almoast dead, the killer uses the lended item on you, wich will appear in your inventory, you die, and he takes ur rare.

This got patched, as you cant use items on eachotter no more to return lended items.

 

Even if is was the case it would not make any difference. If there was some way somebody would steal your lent item you would still get it back after the allotted time because lent items have different item ids. If the op was implying that he somehow lost the actual item then he is lying. With the current lend system there is now way you get the item instantly sent to your inventory now. Thus rendering any instance of this impossible.

They won't do a rollback over this.
This was happening before, you would borrow a phat, then go in wild with the guy, get him low hp, use the phat on him (it returns to invy) and you kill and get phat.

Lots of people lost rares, and they did not do a rollback.



However ot, I have not heard of any news of a new glitch, anyone got proof?
