New to Sythe - Questions about Buying GP

Hi there, I am new to Sythe. If you think that this is in the wrong thread, can you please move this to the appropriate one, thanks!

I just have a few questions and queries about buying in the RS market...

What are vouches?
What is an MM/OMM? What does it stand for?
Is there anything else I need to know when I'm buying gold?

What are vouches? It's like having feedback for each trade you do so when a successful trade as taken place you would get a 'vouch' if you get me? It's a way of showing trust

What is an MM/OMM? What does it stand for? Middle Man/Official Middle Man, a very trusted member who handles the trade for you which decreases the chance of getting scammed because if you went first then the seller could run but by using a middle man both parties give the middle the items then he takes on the trade.

Is there anything else I need to know when I'm buying gold? Watch out for scammers and always check their vouches and see if they have a decent number. Don't just go first to anyone because a lot people here scam however they are a lot of decent members so look at for them!

 

So, if I were to buy gold, do I need somewhere for other people to leave me vouches? If so, how do I set up one?

It is highly recommended that you use a very trusted Middle Man or pay for an 'Official Middle Man' to prevent being scammed as it happens ALOT. Watch out, and goodluck!
