Rapier Or Longsword?

So, I'm almost 80 dungeoneering on my barrows pure to be, and I need some advice on chaotics. I'm not going to stake a lot with it and I wont pk much too. What do you think would be the best weapon for me to have?

 

Rapier hands down.

 

Rapier. Once you get cls, you'll find that is is actually alot less accurate than rapier lol, despite the bonuses

 

Rapier is way better then the longsword, definatly

 

Depends what you like to do more on RuneScape. I think you'd prefer the CLS.

Rapier is meant for PKing/staking.

CLS is meant for PvM/everything else.

 

Kind of off topic but if your talking any chaotic the staff if outragiously good hits very high

 

i guess rapier since its kickass in everything

 

Rapier has more DPS, so rapier is hands down an all around weapon.

 

Rapier has higher dps while if you pvm at all cls probably best. look into crossbow and staff.

 

Longsword. Rapier is mostly used for staking & Pking, you have stated you won't be staking & PKing much.

 

Rapier. Best for slayer, staking, pking, still good for bosses, better for training, etc. Fuck cls! =)

 

currently have rapier and i hit 480+ with super pots and turm with minimal strength bonus. im going for cls next so ill update and see how nice it is.

 

i have both cls and rapier

here is my opinion

Rapier some how inaccurate, hits ok but it hits a bunch of low hits like 20-50-30 -90- 290-10
Chaotic longsword= 1 handed godsword, hits alot better hits much more often

example i was in warrior guild now i have low combat stats only 87 attack str and defence but i was on extremes
fighting the rune guy for the tokens rapier 0-0-0-10-0 chaotic longsword 280-280
anything with even decent defence i use cls so imo end story chaotic longsword = beast, and rapier although has its moments is not as useful

also depends if you bot there is 0 point in a rapier you will never bot with it because it takes alot of money a night to run making profits almost 0

so at least have fun when you are playing ligit with your chaotic longsword

 

i would say get rapier but if u decide to get cls its quite less accurate i'm talking by experience and i am maxed lol.

I like rapier. Fast but Cls is kinda of slow for me.
