Greetz all, I said I wouldn't write any windows guides but what the hell I'll toss one out.

About this guide::
In this guide I'll show you how to play games using virtual disks to play games. The example I will be using is for files using the iso-9660 disk image format. Daemon tools supports many other formats and is not limited to iso-9660.​

Well first off, we need a copy of Daemon Tools Lite; we can get a copy of it here:

Only thing to do during installation is select that it's the free version, that's all there is to it.. After that, right click the little drive in the corner and select 'mount'.



Then simply select the *.iso file you are trying to mount. It will load up like a disk, just go to 'My Computer' and you'll see it. To remove it simply right click the drive icon again and click on 'unmount'.

That's all there is to it, it's probably one of the most simple to use programs out there, easier than mine sweeper anyway.

at least use an example of a game and show all the installation steps

 

I'm not showing you the installation steps, if you can't handle clicking on 2 or 3 'next' buttons go sell your computer now. Using daemon tools is about as complicated as tying your shoe laces.

He is giving you constructive criticism, so don't get upset when he is just trying to help. It would help a lot if you ACTUALLY showed it using a game, but Daemon tools is pretty simple to use imo.

 

Can't mount *.img as ntfs (no signature) and cba downloading a game on a disposable fs. The guide/application is simple enough, it will have to do.

(even tried fusefs)
