Selling Accounts is gonna be GF'd

Go to www.Runescape.com
and go to "Recover password"
It takes you straight to Recovery form, you can't chose "Stolen" or "Forgotten"
& When you recover, the account's recovery questions aren't deleted. I just tested it. So now how are people going to sell accounts? Can't get the recovery questions off them anymore...

 

that just means people will have to provide the questions and have a MM do a recovery test before selling accounts now.

 

but then people will be able to recover their accs easier if they sell them to other people...

 

Basically the only thing you can do is buy from a trusted seller who you know isn't gonna recover >_<

well this is just gonna keep the community the way it is already, the trusted sellers are gonna be more trusted and the scammers are gonna keep getting banned.....:huh: just ... now the scammers might have an easier way

I'm pretty sure now, all you do is select the option
"I do not recognise these recovery questions " when you are recovering .

 

Yeah, only the trusted sellers are going to be able to sell accounts, scammers going to have no chance now Just odd that Jagex would wait this long...by odd I mean idiotic -_-

 

Hmm this makes things much more challenging maybe they are trying to put a stop to account selling?

 

And I kind of like the auto question feature

 

this prevent scammers hack accounts back as well. so you d better find a safe buyer to sell account

It just means that you have to find a middleman, that's all.

 

Yeah OMM's going to be making big money, NO ONE is gonna trade without them. >.>

 

Thing is, even use of a middleman won't help much, considering recovery tests are a 1/10 chance, and most likely not even that, based on IP difference.
