Deleting Old Recovs

I put recovs on an account about 6 months ago and I can remember them and I want to remove them so I can sell it now. Any help? ETA on removal time? Any other useful tid bits? I never add recovs so I never knew how to remove them.

 

I think it takes days to cancel recoveries :/ I remember when I forgot my email and recoveries it took days to cancel both this was about 3 months ago

 

The only way to cancel recoveries is to successfully submit a recovery request saying the account was stolen.

If you don't know the current ones.. then you can set new ones, will take 14days, then you can submit the recovery request to cancel them.

 

Fastest way of going about this is registering an email to your account, submitting a stolen password request, using the set email to instantly recover your account and therefor deleting your recovery questions in a matter of minutes.

 

Wish I found out about this earlier. I waited 14days to remove the recoveries from my range tank :/

 

Doesn't work anymore with the new recovery system; they don't even ask if your account was stolen, or if you forgot it.

 

So does anyone know a way now with the new recov system?

I don't think there is a way to cancel them now then, only change them.

 

Since when did they do that? Thats going to make selling my account quite difficult then :S.

 

Yeah I'm also wondering how to delete recoveries now, since the new system doesn't delete them after a recovery test.

That's what I'm saying, I have a really good pure with no intention of playing it anymore (I've made a new one xD), but it has recoveries -_-

 

set new recovery questions on your accuont and wait 14 days for active...
but if its your own account, no need to set new recovery questions I think...

ifyou want your recovery questions active instanly, you need to recover it back to remove all recoverys first. then you can set new recovery. they will work at once.

 

Recover a stolen account successfully. Recovery questions will be automatically deleted.

That won't delete them, just change them

 

I also need to find out, It's a hell of a lot harder to sell an account w/ recovs then without.
