47 Defence. Should I go higher?

I accidentally levelled defence up to 47 yesterday. :S 99 attack, 99 strength, 83 range, 95 mage.

My question: Should I go up to 70, or even 99?

If so, where is the best place to train, at least until I can afk bandits? Cheers.

In regards to my hopes for this account, a Pker or general tank would be my goal.

 

you should start by going to 70 and see if you like it
then if that's not enough just go to 80 / 90 / 99

 

Its up to you, playing on a 70 def account is quite different from a zerker. If you dont mind the combat levels, then go 70 def. Thats what I'm doing on my 48 def zerker

 

Thanks for the comments. Anywhere specific that I should train, for the best exp? I haven't played in a while.

 

rock crabs? You won't have to worry about food and you can afk them if you're playing legit just go to a "full" world such as world 2 and you will be the only one there. That's my trick. anyway, if I were you I would go for 70 defence.

 

Sounds like a nice account, I would suggest going for 75 defense. That would be nice, otherwise sticking to 70. With 75 you could have barrows, and the more expensive spirit shields and a DFS. Also you could still wear barrows.

 

I don't even think those 2 defence levels give you a combat level when you max. Leave it the way it is.

 

im ocd so id have to have 45 def and if i got any higher id just go to 70
but depends if its bugging you too or not

Yeah, I'm pretty much the same - I have to have a level in a increment of 5 otherwise I'm not content but if it doesn't bother you, I'd suggest you stick with it. If it does, then train it to 70/75.
