Easiest race to level?

I dont rly know which race is the easiest one to get to level as i do not play wow much but may start, anyone tell me what one?

 

Gnomes and Humans have an ability that cancels movement impairing effects. I've always found that to be helpful.
But my favorite was undead as they have will of the forsaken that cancels fear and stuff, also eating dead bodies for health.

 

They are all the same.

 

race does not make that much of a difference. its the class that determines how fast you level.

 

What class would I use if i was trying to level up fast?

 

it depends

Hunters and warlocks because of their pet.

Paladins because of self healing and plate

rogues because stealth makes a lot of questing faster

druids because of travel form, stealth and healing

its all personal preference but really all classes have abilities that make lvliing easier in some aspect.

My friend was explaining something about blood-elves being difficult to level etc,

Thanks for the submission surj, it's given me a more referenced knowledge about the game, I know nothing about it atm.

May consider a Paladin, not sure yet.

 

Well your friend is an idiot No class or race is really difficult to level but that being said if you have a non self healing class such as rogue or warrior undead would probally be the easiest and with a self healing class humans would be the easiest as they can prevent long stuns so they can get a heal in. From my experience hunters are the fastest levelers followed by warlocks and paladins though paladins are the easiest followed by hunters...

I think i've made my mind up, I'll probably just make mine a paladin,
I didn't realise they took the same time to level >.<

 

I found the cannabalism racial from undead extremely helpful when levelling up, especially for melee classes as it allows less downtime in between mobs.

 

Yet again, I don't really understand that, I'll be buying the game soon so hopefully I'll have a clearer view on what you guys are going on about.

Race isn't going to determine level speed, class will.

 

It also depends on how well you know the starting area and how effiently you play, how many dungeons you do when leveling ect. Leveling up isn't based on your race but class and those other factors ^^.

Hunters/locks for pets help but Blizzard has made leveling easier in Cata then from back in Vanilla WoW so it's not even that difficult.
