I had a wierd dream - what does this mean?

Okay so i woke up after a 6 hour nap and i was feeling tired again for some reason so I went back to bed around 2am

The first dream, I was hanging with my friend that I knew for awhile and we were walking through the drive through at mcdonalds. We ordered food and I realized I don't got money for the food. My friend told me "Lets Just Go with the food". I really thought about it and said alright GO, we ran and he got in the car but for some reason I just kept running. I had about 7 people chasing me, but I kept running. Then I looked to my left and found my friend getting beat so I was running over there to try to help and run at the same time, one of the kids beating my friend saw me and tried to catch me, when I saw him running at me, I was like "I play rugby I can truck this guy" so I tried to truck him, he went down but grabbed onto my foot and then got up and I kept slamming him into the ground, probably like 4 times. I turned around and noone was behind me. A flash foward happened and I was in the car with my parents and I was driving and i told my mom what happened like "Mom i tried stealing some mcdonalds but got away" While we were driving I saw a cop next to us and I felt scared so I hid my head. The cop looked but didnt pull us over. - End Of Dream

 

It could've meant a whole variety of things depending on which theory you want to take.

Freuds Theory - You subconsciously wanted this to happen, and therefore your brain recreated it in your dreams.

Hobson and McCarley's Activation Synthesis Theory - Your brain has interpreted activity and is attempting to give it meaning via dreams, which is probably why your dream is a bit abstract.

There are others however these are the 2 off the top of my head.


Suffice to say, your dreams don't really mean much.

 

I know they dont mean anything and wont change me

Just like these dreams are just wierd

 

You'll feel really odd when you have a third person perspective dream watching yourself masturbate.
