Why you think they're violating Sythe rules:
This is happening constantly on this forum. There are lots of pages saying people are selling accounts but don't actually have any way to purchase them. I've searched this mans discord and there is no section or option to purchase any accounts, let alone a maxed main.

Honestly, this doesn't even effect me as I didn't plan on purchasing the account. I mostly just checkout the accounts because I enjoy looking, but when I see such obvious abuse of this platform time and time again, it is beginning to hinder my experience.

I've reported posts just like this in the past but I always receive return messages something along the lines of "where is the proof?". I get it's not your job to search for these issues, but they are sadly everywhere.

If this isn't against the rules, no problem. I just feel like if there is an account that is advertised, at very least if you don't have to show it on the platform itself, it should still be at least available SOMEWHERE.

I included https://www.eldorado.gg/ listing as well because he sells stuff on there as well.

1. There is a listing on Sythe with an account.
2. Do to lack of information on Sythe post, it redirects me to discord server.
3. I enter discord server, and no account available to actually view.

Just to clarify as after reading the responses from staff, there seems to be some miscommunication. This report was simply made to address the fact that I believe account sellers on this platform simply bump threads, regardless of account availability, in hopes to draw more customers to their discord servers. I don't believe sellers are required to have accurate listings (based on staff responses) and can simply display an "example" account due to endless possibilities. I do believe their should be a distinct difference between a thread which has a goal of selling accounts and a thread which wants you to pay for a service in hopes to receive said account.

I don't believe all sellers are doing this as majority of sellers do a great job at keeping their stock up to date, as well as their Sythe post. It does seem that a large number of people on this website are completely accepting that this website, Sythe, is more of a funnel for service providers as apposed to the actual sale of products. At least in the Oldschool Runescape account selling sections.

Truthfully, their probably isn't a good solution in this case due to the fact that it would require a great deal of effort for staff members to monitor this. Additionally, it also appears that, in staffs eyes, is a non-issue.

 

I guess the question would be if he is actually selling an account, providing a service, or simply bumping this post to have more possible eyes on his discord server.

It's not that I couldn't find his discord. It's that I couldn't find the account within his discord.

I'm not looking for any kind of punishment. More of clearity if this is allowed or not, and if it is, no big deal. It really doesn't effect my experience here; although annoying.

I feel like this whole scenario falls under this suggestion. It's extremely unfortunate to see this topic has been overlooked with so much support.
