Is this site really dedicated to getting rid of scammers?

Been open for nearly 4 days and no activity from any mods for the last 3. It's bad enough having semi-trusted members scam and not get banned, but when an ex-mod with vouches from admin scams and gets away with it, who can you trust?

At first I filed this to do my friend a favor. Now I have taken it personally and will stop at nothing until Kiabin is banned.

I encourage anyone who is against scamming to file a report against Kiabin. He admitted to scamming in a thread on Sythe (located in my scam report, link above) so anyone can post a report against him.

 

That is why it is hard to get a lot of trust around here. I am not calling Kiaban a scammer, but when people do that (if it is true) it is really hard to trust people. That is one reason I don't trust many people on here. You have to define your own trust line, but normally ex-mods are very trustable.

What is there to believe, he SAID he did it. Im not seeing what is going on either.

Dont be surprised if nobody looks into this, and it gets brushed under the carpet.

^ Tell me about it. I have even had another member contact me (he has been following the report for 1+ weeks) and say that he gathered up information and sent it to some of the mods.

I just feel like they're trying to cover up one of their own. Because the member who was scammed was banned, it would have been very hard for any proof to get out about Kiabin had I not helped Unionlozer.

 

100% agree, they ban people outside the site for being banned on other communitys, phishing and shit. And the quote that was posted before believeing in ex mod or vader just agreed the thing that this sht is corrupt. He admited it, id say he deserves full ban as any other member.

Could potentially be scandalous for Mods, Globals, and Admins.
They prly deciding what is best for sythe.
Ruining the reputation of those with the highest trust or currupting their system

 

^ The thing is he made a mistake. He truly thinks my friend hacked him (I don't blame him, he got hacked for all his money my friend gave him a few days after my friend gave it to him), and believe that justifies the account recovery.

I would be fine with him getting a TWC, my friend getting his money back, as well as the other buyer getting his money back.

Yes they're. That's why some reports take a long time. The need to be investigated ect. I consider this as spam in the Market Lounge section. If you feel no one read your report just PM some Moderator..

 

You can't expect a scam report on an ex mod to be cleared up in a few days, a report like this could take several weeks if not months.

1. Your friend is a known scammer/ vader
2. Kiabin has no proof of being phished
3. The email you provided proves nothing, an email can easily be masked

No major proof on either side but fact that he's reselling is still sad IMO

I'm not stating either of you are lying but your thread has obviously not been closed, so they are still investigating do not make pointless threads over and over about your friend being scammed by him, majority of sythe knows the story. If your thread was closed and resolved then it would be different, but don't expect a dispute like this to be cleared up in a few days and IMO doesn't look too good for kiabin

This seems more like a scam report/ bump for your topic than a market topic

got scammed, provided one photo and a chat convo log along with scammer's MSN, and it got promptly denied LOL.

oh well, guess it was my fault. but still, i feel like this site has more scammers than any other site out there...just use common sense, avoid people with fucked up or obvious names or people with bad grammar/low post counts/recent join dates.

really unlucky tbh, if anything, an ex-mod should be trustworthy.

 

There is a team of moderators filing through scam reports, keeping the site free of malicious links, spam ect.

Also many users try to pitch in and do their part also.

So apparently it wasn't the mods just "coming around to it." Without video's help he would still be unbanned I bet.

 

I would have banned him off of that report as well, sorry for your loss.
