How many success/failure stories?

Hello Sythe users!


I have been inquiring about success in the Runescape market here on Sythe. I am wondering how many of you have bought an account, and kept it. Meaning, you have in one way or another paid for an account; while still using it today.

In addition, I am inviting you to share stories on how you have been scammed while buying an account. In example; account being recovered a few hours later.

I want to see how success' vs failures there are.

I bought an account which was recovered 7 months or so later. It really is sickening when it happens, especially when you buy from respectable users.

 

Honestly I will probably never buy an account on sythe. Maybe from like Finn, but other than that, no.
Selling/buying RSGP is a lot safer.
With that RSGP you can pay people to bot your own account, and have the stats you want, which is probably the safest way to go.

 

I have bought so many accounts in the past and i have not kept 1. They all end up getting recovered anywhere from a hour after purchase or a couple months at the longest.

 

i personaly have ever only had 1 legit acc seller out of about 7. i had most accs recoverd within 2 weeks, 2 accs recovered in 18 months 12 months.

HOWEVER on skill trainers, i have had 7 accs hacked about kept about 11 that were not banned (these r free trainers though so what do you expect?)

 

So you still have the 1 account?

 

Only bought 1 account that was succesful.

Stats were 70 att 70 def 70 hp everything else was one. Perfect staker and it only cost me 3m. This happened about a month before staking was removed. But that was from a different site.

On sythe, I've bought way too many accounts.

All of them have been recovered even when I used an OMM. Used Giddy once for a trade and the guy recovered the account within 3 hours. Luckily I had a feeling something was up so I didn't put anything on the account. But never had a successful account trade on sythe.

 

Personally. I've sold 20+ Accounts, never recovered one of them. So that's gotta boost the ratings .
As for buying, I've bought two, both have been recovered.

 

actuly i got 2 atm, but one of them the owner sold me 2 and recovered the other. so im not so sure how long ima keep the other 1 he sold me

Don't buy an account for personal use.
The question to ask yourself before you buy is, what will happen to the account if you are banned on sythe or the seller is banned? Will they recover it maybe?

Anyway, I buy accounts for gold farming only, also i have sold some level 3 accounts on here (99 mining, thieving and runecrafting).

Edit: forgot to mention, I used to run skilling service thread, and i used to have problems with customers because their accounts would be hacked. When, I ask if they bought from someone, the answer would be yes. That is why i later put rules restricting to not bot for customers with accounts bought from other users.

 

i bought an account and it got recovered 4 days later, tried recovering it soo many times but never got it back

 

I woulden't risk buying any account's, although i'm selling mine atm.

I came to sythe to learn the in's an outs of the market. When i first got on the scene i tried to sell 6 SorcGarden accounts for $5 each. No one brought off me as i was new.

At around 200 posts an 2 months on sythe i brought a maxed account for 200m (too good to be true) it was recovered like 3 days later. I then realized thats why noone would by the Sorc accounts off me.

I recently brought another account off "baris123" pure with 70 dungeneering. Its been like 2 weeks an all is going smooth but haven't trained it or put anything on it yet just in case.

 

Account recovered was my problem. Bought a level 138, had it for a month and half and was recovered. Lost 250m rsgp. Oh well. Now I learned my lesson, never go first to anyone with less vouches and in quality than you. AND always use an OMM for big trades, even if TRUSTED

 

Always get a recovery test done by an OMM don't trust anybody, Ex- Mod was banned for recovering an account and re selling, don't trust anybody except maybe a few such as RsProd and few others or an admin/ global mod but in the end the creator has the ability to clear recoveries by using his ip adress I bought an account and it was recovered by the owner 3 days later... he wasn't happy though since I lost the 30mil he left on it which I bought back with no free trade.

 

yeah seriously, most people here will just recover it. i probably would too, i mean, fuck man, it's fucking online gaming, they won't ever know or meet you in real life, so people just tend to slide.

bought an account off here, got recovered two weeks into it, but i managed to recover it back (some fucking how, don't ask me, i just put some bs info and jagex was like "lolokhereugo accepted"), now im not too sure on playing on it again since most account recoveries for decent/higher-level accounts happen months after when the buyer invests a shitload of money and effort into training on the acc.

the best way to make sure it doesnt get recovered is to do multiple recovery tests, and be sure to ask for the most accurate creation details (seriously, creation details are the most important part, nobody gives a fuck about recoveries or emails anymore)

set a bank pin and make the delay 7 days.
before you log out bank everything valuable (this gets quite tedious at first but youll get used to it). try and check up on your account once a day. google in the account naem or details to make sure no previous trades have been done for it.

 

Str8 remind me never to do business with you.

I've swapped accounts before, no problems and even gave an account away the day wild ditch was added...never even crossed my mind to recover.
