My road to a Maxed Obby Mauler!

Hellooo Everyone!

When I decided a month or so ago that I was ready to quit Guild Wars and get back into RuneScape, I realized that I would be good to start from scratch, and not buy an account, in order to prevent any recovery, hacking, etc. issues from occurring. From here, I had to give some serious thought as to what kind of account I wanted to make. I remembered that my old favorite account (aside from my main, because I'm not ready to commit a lot of time to main), was my Obby Mauler! Thus, a new Mauler was born!

I created the account on March 23, 2011, and got Membership the following day, on the 24th. (So I'm about to hit the 1 month mark! )

I realized I should have started this earlier, as I'm already well on my way, but as they say, better late than never, eh?

I started this account with about 10m in cash that I was given as a gift from my good friend Trinityy. (In total, I've purchased/been given about 20m, so anything more than that on the account, is what I've made.)

I'll continue to update this as my stats improve.
I'll also be screenshotting my PK's from now on, and posting them here.

Current Goal(s):

90 Strength (85 Currently)
60 Range (53 Currently)

^ This will put me at 47 combat ^

Long-Term Goals :

99 Strength
70 Range
70 HP
^ These will put me at 51 combat ^

 

Hey good luck with the mauler, Fletching cape looks pretty cool untrimmed.

99 Strength at level 51 will looks BEAST.

How did you get 99 fletch in 6 days? what did you use? did you make profit? How long per day?

I've always loved playing on obby mauler. You gonna have a blast when that's maxed.

 

I botted the whole way using uFletch from Powerbot.
I did arrows to 30, willows to 55, maples to 70, then I STRUNG yews from 70-99. Stringing is faster exp than cutting, and if you buy (u) and strings from g.e., you still make profit. I made about 4m from 0-99. Probably about 12-18 hrs a day.

 

Support Pretty nice stats, but why 5 attack?

 

5 attack is calculated to be about 35% more accurate than 1, and at the cost of 1 combat level, I felt it was worth it. (Plus you pot higher)

 

Quick update:

Str level is now 92
Range level is now 61
HP level is 10k off of 68

That will be sick! Me and a buddy are doing something like that 99 str and 99 woodcutting, it will be around 55-65 hp .

Up to 50 strength and around 400 zeals and just created a couple days ago! Hope that we can pk together sometime and I'll be really looking forward to it!

I'm about 25 zeals off of 99 now I'll have it this evening. I'll be on MSN a lot more now. Classes are done for the semester and I'll have more time to be around to chat! Hopefully we can catch up this evening.
