Scalable money-making with proof. 150k+ an hour per set. (35 smithing, P2P acc + F2P)

Money made so far:



[If you can think of a better moneymaking method, do tell. However, I'm gaining a lot of free smithing XP doing this.]

Instructions:
1. Complete Dwarf Cannon quest on a member's account. Have 35 smithing. If you don't, smelt 1,000 bronze bars and make them all bronze plates, or make bronze sets if you don't want to lose the 100k.

2. With your F2P account do the same thing to get ~30 smithing.

3. Buy large amounts of iron and coal, smelt steel bars on your F2P account, trade them to your members account every 1,000 or 2,000 and smith cannonballs.

[Note: Use Powerbot/RSBot or RSBuddy. I use Paradigm's Prosmither on RSBuddy]

4. Rinse and repeat and make 150k profit per hour per set [sometimes as high as 200k]. Scales upward very easily.

5. Enjoy 240k smithing xp a day for cannonballs and ~200k+ for F2P steelbar smithing.

6. Continue and reach 99 smithing while making 90-100+ mil a month.

7. If you create say like 4 sets, you'll quadrouple the rate of earnings. Just make sure to buy A LOT of iron/coal and be able to keep up with all the smelts, smiths and trading.

Do this for hours, and hours, and hours. I went from around 2 mil, to what I have now -- ~14 mil. In a few days.

I've made over 100,000 cannonballs.

Was going to try cannon at Green Dragons, but I can't manage to find a decent spot where I won't get killed. I'll just max out my member main and buy a whip when I have enough money. I'm going to start selling off the gold soon.

The way to scale this old method though relies on a new trick -- Speedhacking. Speedhack with Cheat Engine and you can run several more bots. You need to speedhack to anything under 1. For example, .4 is 40% speed and therefore only 40% CPU usage, but since it's all server-side actions are still full speed. And for things you can sit and do like power mining or power woodcutting, you could set it to .25 or .10

Just experiment and see what works best. Prioritizing is useful through the program Process Explorer or just Windows Task Manager.

7 bots in this video for example. 3 are woodcutting, 4 are mining and all are banking.


I can run 6-8 bots on 4 GB of RAM [3.5 GB usable on 32-bit and ~400-800+ MB used by various processes] and a 4 ghz Pentium 4 w/ HT [even for something like Woodcutting]. Yes, that's equal to a ~2 or 2.4 ghz Core 2 Solo. So if you had like 12 GB of DDR2 or DDR3 and a 2-4 ghz Core 2 Quad or 4/6 core i7, you could easily run 20 bots.

Supposedly there is a trick to reduce the RAM usage. However, I don't know what that is and I'd really like to.

On my processor though .5 is still full CPU usage, so I need to go under that.

 

Not a bad guide. I have RSbot on my PC but my old main was banned for botting over 2 years ago and haven't gone back since. Would it be worth it to risk on my new account or would it be better to just bot a couple of accounts for the steel bars only?

It would be fine either way. I've been botting since December/January and I haven't had a single ban on any of the 10 accounts that I own.

Using Task Manager or Process Explorer like I've mentioned, certain values will literally reduce CPU usage percentage.

Cannonballs appear to be going up in price. They're up at 237. Iron is falling in price, and coal is relatively stable. Keep botting everyone! Lol.
