Buying Signature

Paying in RSGP or PP, depending on how much I like it.
Not paying out the asshole either.

Need a small forum sized signature that has "Turtle" OR "Turtle 1337" on it. The subtext needs to be "Legacy 614 Moderator" or "Legacy Moderator"

Any combo of the first two and second two is fine.

Background I'd like to be a nissan skyline. Either that or any really nice tuner with a bright...city like background and text that fades really well into it.

Can you tell me what colour you'd like the Skyline to be? I suppose the Tuner is also a Nissan car. I don't know I am not a car guy. Finally, any particular fonts you like?

And a "tuner" is a type of car, look it up.
Any newer Nissan skyline will be fine.
I want the text to be like...big and fade into the background. It should take up most of the picture and be an embossed outline while the rest is about 70% opake into the background

Eh... made it with a track pad. I don't think I quite struck the head on the nail with the design you wanted. Too clouded with my own style.

Oh well, take a look anyways. I also have a more open concept one that isn't nearly as tiny.



Edit: Ugh. I didn't have my glasses on when I made this. Legacy Moderator looks awful. If you want I can fix that up.

 

Make Turtle A LOT biggger and fix legacy mod.
It's not that bad. and show me the other concept too.

 

To be honest, I don't quite understand the benefit in having Turtle written any bigger. You can read it as is, and it takes away from the beauty that is the car. If you just wanted to have Turtle, then why even include the car in the first place? Making Turtle bigger interferes with the flow of the entire piece.

But I suppose you are the client after all.



Oh, and as for the other design, I don't like it, but since you asked. Its probably going to be huge since I didn't re-size it after I was done working on it. I did however make Turtle larger since it would have been the same proportion to the car in the first one.



Anyways, let me know what you think, or any changes you'd like.

I also would like to say I like your design, Epic. I also can't wait to see any other competition my design might get.

Oh, mine isn't better. It's just cleaner. Your signature is bright and exciting while mine is far more simple and sleek.

And I gotta ask. Did you use a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Font?

 

It was labeled Turtle. So i just used that.

 

Make the text color black and add an effect so it's clearly noticible but like... barley there.

Okay. You want very professional? Then please, take my advice on this. I have actually taken graphic design classes. I am not the best at it or anything, but clearly I have more experience in it than you, else you wouldn't be asking me to do this.

The problem with me making the text black is one that involves a simple element of design called contrast. Now, as you can already see, the car is black. If I make the text black, then it become difficult to pull the two apart visually. I understand you want me to add an effect to pull them apart, but then we start dealing with clutter. If you have too many things going on, it ultimately detracts from the entire piece.

The reason I chose a light blue is simple. That blue reflects the blue in the headlights of the car, and contrasts nicely with the red. I can change the colour if you want, but honestly I think that blue is going to look the nicest.

If you are dead-set on using my design, that is fine. But please listen to me. I am a designer, and I know how to design. I would really rather not spend my time creating something I know will look awful before I even start.

I want it more opake, and not italics.
I don't want the text to stand out, just the border of it. It should basically be a text outline with the inner part at around 10-20% opacity.

 

RS BEAST I like that, but improve the quality around the car and lose the border.
