VPS - Help me out please ;)

Hey Sythe, i'm really interested in buying a vps. I was wondering, can I run servers from it? Ie; minecraft servers, RSPS's, maybe even my website?

If you are an expert when it comes to there please take a sec to help me out.

Please try to answer my questions above and reccomend a provider for me, thanks.

 

You can run a minecraft server of photon VPS. I'm 99.99% sure you can run a website from them as well.

photonvps.com is where you should look, they're a tad more expensive however 100x better than most vps providers.

 

You can, as said above photon has great packages that allow servers.

As long as you don't abuse your nodes resources photon will take great care of you, the uptime is impressive too.

since everyone is throwing PhotonVPS at you,
I thought I'd just add that YardVPS is the same exact company, but cheaper servers because you manage them yourself.

It's like $10 cheaper a month for the same company's servers.

 

Jimmy doesnt allow botting on YardVPS as it's a single CPU processor, he owns both companies. Photon has duel cpu xeons I researched into this and talked with him via email. Do you ever read the responses to what you post? Because I've explained this a few times. If you refer people to yard and they get cancelled because they do not allow botting it's on you.

 

If you interested in running a minecraft server without the hassle then use servercraft.

If by running a website you mean opening up an internet browser, typing in the website url and going to it, then yes, yes you can. At least on photon vps (only vps I have experienced.)

Depending on what you are doing exactly you might benefit more from purchasing a dedicated server.
