How they scammed: Working with RSPS staff / using them as suppliers
Other relevant trade screenshots: I don't have access to the chatlog from the original transaction, but I will put the followup chat logs in a deleted message as they contain usernames & screenshots of usernames

Tldr; Bought rsps off Thatchy's worker through his discord server. Within 30seconds of the purchase, I was jailed on the rsps. After about 10mins of waiting to speak to thatchy, I decided to add the account that had sold me the pkp to see if he was online/had been punished. Turns out he was still online and not banned or jailed, which was strange to me. For a staff member to respond that quick to a transaction but only jail me, makes me believe that the seller was the staff member themselves.

I realize there are risks when buying/selling rsps currencies, however when purchasing off a trusted sythe user, I shouldn't have to worry about buying off a staff member who is supposedly a trusted supplier of the sythe user.

I'm not sure if anything will come from this post, however I atleast wanted to put it out there that Thatchy's team is very likely using staff suppliers to conduct rsps transactions.

Rules screening is set up in the server, containing the Terms of Service.



You can see here in the second paragraph that we retain the right to outsource any trades. Which they have agreed to before talking in the server, let alone opening a ticket.


Here you can see that Smokesy (which i assume is in the deleted screenshots with the username) bought the gold on rsps using the ::brid location.

This is us paying the supplier:


And here you can see that the supplier has completed trades with us before, looking at the vouch and join date. As well as the comment in the general chat that he tells others how to open a ticket.


Here is further proof that the supplier has completed other successful trades with us, also in a different server showing that they are a loyal and returning seller.

Not to mention that they mainly speak Spanish when not using a translator, which makes it difficult to think that they are staff on an RSPS due to the fact that most RSPS players are English speaking.

Also its not even a scam, you were given the GP as promised and you got banned after the trade, which we have reserved the rights for using this spoiler in the RSPS thread we listed here on Sythe. Which you assumably read before joining the Discord.

 

I made this thread because I believe my losses are due to your negligence when it comes to using suppliers. My complaint & concern is your trading practices and your use of sketchy/unreliable suppliers & more than likely staff suppliers which resulted in my losses and probably the losses of previous customers.

I supplied evidence that indicates that the supplier you used was either a staff member, or working with the staff team on that server. In addition to that evidence, there is more to consider when proving this point:

1. Typically (as shown on 07 and RSPS before) when it comes to RWT bans, either the supplier is punished and the buyer is warned, or both parties are punished. I have never seen a situation where only the buyer gets punished and the seller is allowed to continue on.

2. I provided evidence of me being almost instantly punished after purchasing currency from you and your supplier, and provided evidence of the supplier seemingly not being punished. To which you shrugged this comment off.

Furthermore, if you want to supply the chat logs from my initial purchase ticket I had said something along the lines of "wait, dont close" because of how quickly I was punished, to which your partner instantly closed the ticket afterwards. Bit strange, no?

 

I already answered the first questions, the proof is in the photos that I provided.

For the other question I will say that it was raising concerns for me however we have not had these reports before from a customer who has bought via us using this supplier.

I understand that @Ysekoms is angry that he got banned, however we are not responsible for any bans that occur before, during or after the trade/service has been completed.

I will practice better procedure in the future, I actually know a very good way to conduct trades using a drama/stake tactic in RSPS.
