    SAT Subject Tests

I have 2 SAT Subject Tests that I have to take an exam on May 7th I beleive. I'm taking Math 1 and U.S History. I studied nearly all Math 1, I believe i'm somewhat prepared for the exam. On the other hand, I haven't studied shit for the U.S history exam.

It would be amazing if any of you guys who took either the Math 1 and the U.S history exam to tell me what particular areas I should stress on. Thanks.

In the UK we did SAT exams in year 6 (6th grade). Are the SAT exams you'r =e talking about relating to higher schooling? Just curious. But sorry can't help you on the subjects :/

SAT is for the United States. You take after 10th Grade, Not quite sure about the UK though

    SAT Subject Tests

Funny, I took both Math 1 and U.S. History as my subjected tests last year and ironically on the same date you are taking them. Unfortunately, I cannot recount what areas were stressed on the respective test nor do I think every test exactly parallels a previous test despite its claim as a 'standardized test'.

Though I can tell you that if you are in AP United States History, the subjected tests should be a breeze since the material is obviously the same. I suggest REA Crashcourse U.S. history as a book to review/as a supplement. For a primary study I would use AMSCO U.S. History.

I suggest taking Math 2 in lieu of Math 1. This advice is probably a tad late since Math 2 requires more studying, but it's definitely worth it. Firstly, Math 2 is more reputable in the college admission process, and secondly, I find Math 2 much more manageable. There is a common perception that Math 2 is harder, but that notion is awfully wrong. Math 2 covers more information, but it is less tricky. Math 1 is very similar to the trickiness of SAT Math. Further, the curve for Math 1 is terrible as opposed to it's counterpart where one can get 7 wrong and still achieve and 800.

If I were you, I would forget your Math 1 registration and study for Math 2 for a later date.

Goodluck on your exams. I'm actually taking the exact two in June. What did you use to study for Math I? I didn't prepare at all for the SAT math section and did fairly well on it. Is it similar to that or is it alot more in depth?

Take the Lit instead of history. If you read or do fine on the SAT reading comp its easier and doesnt require studying (well, much anyway)

    SAT Subject Tests

Main problem is that I need to take 7 SAT subject tests and the SAT. So I need to do all these Subjects. I bought the SAT Barron's U.S History and Math 1 Book to review all the topics that are covered in highschool.

Thanks for the tips guys :)
