How I suspect this to work:
1) I give login name + password to the middleman, he verifies it and changes it.
2) I give the middleman my old recoveries/account info to do a recovery test.
3) Middleman notifies you that everything is in check with the account
4) You send me $175 USD to my paypal as a GIFT and in the note section you will put ''I have received my virtual goods and I am satisfied with the transaction.''
5) I notify the middleman that you have sent me the money and that he can now give you the account
6) We go on with our lives
