How to clean ceramic stove top?

Could anyone help me? My parents got mad at me cuz i dropped plastic on it for half a second and now it melted on it.... How do i get it off?

 

Most industrial cleaners will do the job. There are also cleaning substances specifically used for cleaning stop tops, your parents should know what to use. If not; google is your friend.

Try first, to wait for it to completely dry and pick off as much of the plastic you can without scratching the surface.
