Can I get banned for doing this on sythe.org?

Having someone send me PayPal (like $150), spending their money on RSGP then letting them recover their PayPal money back?
If I can't get banned for this I'm willing to throw in an account for someone letting me do this, a pretty good account.

Note that I don't mind if the person sends the payment NOT as a gift and if they make an attachment to the payment saying "this money is for virtual items I have not yet recieved".

This will run my PayPal account into a negitive balance and not effect you in any way.
(I never use my PayPal so no big deal)

 

I highly doubt this is possible, and I think the seller will get the money removed from their account also..

 

Can you get banned for purposely committing fraud with intent?

Gold sites will take legal action against you. YOU. not the other person. This has happened to more then a few people I know personally.

I wouldn't try it in 100 years.

Uhm no i'm not.. Paypal is the one who get's you in trouble. The site selling contacts the site responsible for money transfers first. And Paypal investigates.

I've had my PayPal account go into a negitive balance before.
It might effect my credit but PayPal doesn't go after anyone that I spent the moeny on, as a matter of a fact whoever I spend the money on gets to keep the money I spend on them, and the person that files a dispute will also get their money back. I'll be left with a negitive balance (and it might effect my credit, if that happened I would take care of it).

The only "person" I'd be scamming is PayPal, a multi-million dollar company that can take a $150 loss anyday.

 

To be honest, don't you think we'd all be doing it if it was that simple? The action is simple takes 15 mins or less.

I dont do it, but I know who does, and yes, technically thats internet fraud, but theres people making rl money off this for years and none of them were sued or had any other problems with it, so.

Just think about it. What your doing is scamming and one of the biggest rules here is against scamming (Even off site) so obviously yes, you will be banned.

 

He said If the person who sends him 150$ agrees on this, so I wouldn't call It scamming on this site. The person who sent 150$ will get his money back.

 

This has happened to me but it wasn't on purpose. The other guy got to keep the money and I had to pay $100 to get my account in the positive zone again. Either way, I don't recommend doing it.

 

I'm sure Sthye.org is against scamming but I'm also positive they would never ban someone for scamming someone over Runescape, example the dice game, it just wouldn't happen. That's why I'm wondering if I can get banned on Sythe.org for scamming PayPal.

And if anyone is willing to do this I will give you an account for helping me out, one that's not that bad. I have a 1 def 1 pray pure with addy gloves or a 70 def account with 3 99s, I don't play on either.
You could make a little money off of me and not lose anything at all.
Call it a "free" account with a catch.

 

Oh and the reason why people don't do this, even though it's "so easy" is because their PayPal account will go into negitive balance and the only way to use your PayPal account again would be to pay money out of pocket to PayPal. In my case I haven't used PayPal since the begining of 2009 and I don't plan on using it again, so no big deal.

Sythe.org is against scamming period. People have been banned for scamming off site. What makes you think that just because you scam in a different sector you'll be exempt from preexisting consequences?

Also your example of Runescape and PayPal is beyond idiotic. If you scam in Runescape it is not a criminal felony, you cannot be sued and a criminal record cannot be placed under your name. If you scam against PayPal, you are committing online fraud, a crime that has sent people to jail. So your example is utter garbage.

The reason people don't do this is because they have morals, and also they abide by the law. What you are asking someone to do is be an accessory to your crime, as yes; you are committing a crime.
Your last posts example is also utterly ridiculous. It's like saying I don't plan on seeing this person, so I'm going to rob him, no big deal.

I sincerely hope you get banned, Sythe doesn't condone any form of scamming, and it flummoxes me to think why they would condone your form of internet fraud.

 

The person who you buy the RSGP from will want their money's worth and so they will attempt to find out what happens.

Once they stumble across this thread, they can submit a scam report and you will be banned (and probably the person who sent the cash as well, depending on how much evidence there was of them knowing your intentions).
