Is Powerbot/RSBOT safe?

I've recently heard a lot of crap about it, and it's mostly being said that there's been people getting scammed off their accounts while using. Is it safe now?

 

No, both these sites have been known to let you use their bots and then steal the money from your account. Actually using your computer as a free VPS.

it's an open source project.. unpack the JAR file and look for yourself, there's nothing in the RSBot 2.39 that transmits any data, they even added a new encryption method for passwords so it's that much safer now because all the old Stealthbot variations don't work anymore.

 

Powerbot/RSBot (same program) is COMPLETELY safe. I can tell you that right now from experience. What you've heard is probably just rumors.

 

A few months ago it was hacked by a developer that was denied admin status on the powerbot website
lily posted a pretty interesting story about it on the site
but right now there were tweaks in the operating mechanics of it, and there is no way for any data to be sent to an external source
it is compeltely safe
