[PHP] Video Tutorials [PHP]

Today I finally decided to make the YouTube channel that I have been putting off for a while now. It is dedicated to making PHP Tutorials. As of now, I have only gotten around to getting four (4) PHP Basics tutorials up, but hope to have a bunch more soon!

phpacademy is the best. Don't try to compete

 

I started PHP from PHPAcademy. Alex is really great, I actually talk to him quite frequently, and I'm actively involved with him.

That being said, PHPAcademy uses many, many poor programming habits, with the code provided being outdated and generally poor in many cases. As he re-films all his videos, they become better and better, however that is not to say they are actually great.

I will not argue that he has, by far, the largest portion of this "market." That being said, I am not doing this to compete. I am doing this because I enjoy doing this. So I will not try to compete, I will heed your advice in that sense, I will however, not stop making videos.

 

Glad to hear that. It would be nice if you made a lot of example videos showing how to do various projects like harvesting emails from google, FB, etc. etc.

 

I am very open to suggestions for videos. If you have any specific ones feel free to suggest and I'd be more than happy to make some videos on it.
I do not quite understand what you mean by "harvesting emails from google, FB, etc. etc"; are you saying something to the effect of get all your emails from inboxes with facebook, google, etc. and store them all in this one location kind of thing?
Care to explain further?
