Anyone else get locked???

I run 20 bots and I come home today to find 7 of them have been locked. My friend who also runs as many bots as I do had 6 of his characters locked the same day. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Nope, none of bots were locked Usually doesn't happen if account is yours..

 

When you unlock them you'll either get banned or rolled most likely.

 

Don't recover them from your IP to unlock them. I believe they match the recovery IPs to the IP they are suspicious of botting to find out if in fact you are the original owner.

I have no proof whatsoever but it seems logical.

 

I assume these accounts have been on both your home ip and a vps ip?

 

i run about 6 24/7, nothing has happened to me 0_0.

I dont use vps, I just have my laptop that keeps all those bots on it. 7 of them got locked completely out of nowhere and now I'm having trouble unlocking them. They were all level 3's doing sorc garden.

 

Never happened to anyone i know (i dont bot).

 

Yeah if you don't use a VPS and use one IP then they're definitely onto you

 

I have one account I was botting that just got locked, but I'm pretty sure it's cuz some fool is trying to recover it again (he never gets it though).

I don't see why they'd do a lock for botting unless they think you were hacked, then the hacker was botting?

 

Well its gonna suck getting them set up for the garden again, not to mention they each had around 30m on them.

its probably because sorc gardens is such a hot spot right now, I would advise people to not bot there for at least a few months, its like TzHaar fight pits over again.

I think I'm going to have to swap over to another bot, does anyone know if RSBuddy works on a PhotonVPS?

Twice however, I've gotten locked, then banned straight away after a successful appeal.

are you running them on a vps? then maybe thats why there locked if you first created it fom your personal computer.
And once a couple of mine got locked, i got them unlocked then they were perm banned :S

 

I was running one account at sorc garden 24/7 for 4 months now and it also got locked last night. Only a 13 day ban though. I already sent an appeal, though I'm sure it won't get unlocked. Only a few days of membership left anyways and only had like 2m on it, so not really worried about it. Is it possible that they'll link it to my main though? I was actually running sorc garden on it at the same time to get my thieving up some and it was still going when I got on this morning.
