You honestly think my friend phished Kiabin?

Ok so my IRL friend Unionlozer (banned for evading) has been scammed by Kiabin.

He (Unionlozer) had his account recovered, Kiabin said he would help him but didn't. He then contacted SMR who read the PM's that clearly said he would help him recover the locked account, and if he didn't he would refund my friend.

So SMR then told my friend that you couldn't use PM as proof for a scammer. Too bad Kiabin posted a re-selling thread of the account. In the thread, he admitted to stealing it.

Note how he says he recovered the account because my friend keylogged him. Well first off my friend didn't keylog him but since he is already banned no one will believe that... and there is no way to prove it. But even if my friend did keylog him, that still doesn't mean he can hack the account back.

Please ban this idiot, or add my friend and have him give him the account/gold back. He stole not only the account but also 70M from my friend, which was on the account when he hacked it back.

He tells my friend to post more proof, he posted it in the Account Recovery section. It was visible and is still under the last post but if you click on the link it says the thread is gone.

I'm sorry but I sense a huge cover-up here. He clearly admitted to scamming and no one will help my friend out... I cannot believe this...

Karl, how do I lack proof? He admitted to recovering the account? How is my friend supposed to prove that he didn't keylog him. Kiabin has no arguement whatsoever. He admitted to hacking the account back although no part of the deal was broken my friend (Unionlozer) or Kiabin. He claims my friend phished him. Please have him provide proof of that and then you will have his proof.

I honestly cannot believe you said I lack no proof. I am not normally critical or people, but given the circumstances, and how stupid your comment was, I cannot believe you are on staff if you are unable to read and interpret "I was able to recover the account because he didn't set recoveries."

 

So its now believing an Ex-mod with excellent credentials over a convicted scammer and ban evader.

You don't have to believe my friend over Kiabin.

Kiabin SAYS he recovered the account. What more do you need? Under no circumstances is recovering an account which has previously been sold (the trade was successful... I could probably link you to the vouch page where Kiabin says my friend went first with 130M to buy the account) allowed.

How on earth would Kiabin know for sure my friend phished him? Please tell me where in the Sythe rules it says your allowed to scam people who you think scammed you, although have no proof of their deeds.

Kiabin was phished, by whom, I do not know. He then had nothing. My friend to me that the 130M he gave Kiabin was for his staker he was making. Ask SMR about his PM's with my friend.

When your phished (which Kiabin says he was) you get an email from a someone who claims to be JaGex. Their emails are normally @jagex.com or whatever aren't they? Well my friends email was [email protected] (not how it's not a @jagex.com). Knowing who phished you is nearly impossible, and being phished is equally as stupid.

The only thing there is left to do is to have Kiabin provide you with proof that he was phished by my friend. If he is able to do that, my friend would owe him 130M, but as it stands, Kiabin owes my friend the account.

Also, just for the record, my friend was not a convicted scammer. His previous account was hacked and banned (read Us of a Hero's previous threads for proof). The account was banned for evading because the hacker used a ban-evading email. He then submitted an appeal but no one responded. He went ahead and made another account which was banned for evading. So he has had 2 Sythe account which were banned for evading, not scamming. (To have 2 legit evading offenses, you must have had 3 Sythe accounts, my friend only had two).
