[14th May] EliteSwitch v4 is Finally Here!

No! Seen as "EliteSwitch" was released before "SwiftKit"!

 

To make one like that it will take awhile to do
so for now i can just include tip.it's one if that is any help?

And all swiftkit's features i will eventually get coded into EliteSwitch , just takes time coz it's only me coding not a team of people like sk

I edited some news onto the news page, for Runescape. As I figured out my new access to CuteNews lol .

Let me know if you want me to post some EliteSwitch news up, and re-create / find some images for the news page.

Post any bugs you find, should have another one out in a week to fix up all the loose ends this update will cause

 

can i add and play music like i can in swiftkit?if so ill download it right now

 

Yay, I used this back in 2007, then it stopped getting updated, used swiftswitch, then swiftkit, now im coming back Glad to see it up and running Covey

 

Not at the moment, but it will be added in the coming weeks. For now it just has a link to Windows Media Player.

I'll also be implimenting the old style news page to display the news as i can't be bothered designing a new one at this stage.

After seeing this for years I'm gonna download, excited to try it out.

 

I'm not sure if this is a glitch or not, but whenever I run Eliteswitch, it always says it is downloading "Eliteswitch .07".

I install it and shit and then it runs fine. But it does it everytime. :S

 

Hmm, doesn't seem to be happening on my end.
Are you sure you're not opening the old version everytime? Because i've noticed the new version doesn't appear in the start menu only the un-install option does.

 

I just made sure it was the new version. Downloaded it from the first page. Ran it once. It downloaded the Eliteswitch 0.7 and I installed again. Then I closed it, ran it again and it did the same thing.

 

hmm, i just did the same thing and it doesn't keep re-downloading for me.
What Operating System are you running & is it 32bit or 64 bit.

I'll make a little testing program later for you to run if you'd be so kind and we'll have a look at what's happening.

I think i might know what you're doing, When you download that file from the frontpage, save you save it at C:\Eliteswitch.exe, you then run it and install the new version. The new version actually installs as C:\Program Files\EliteSwitch\EliteSwitch.exe.
Are you running the program from program files or from the c:\ location?

 

Sure that isn't a problem. I am running Vista 32 bit. I don't know what it is that is causing it. I mean, it is fully updated and everything it just constantly keeps doing it.

Edit: Wow I feel kind of dumb now lol. That fixed it. Never though that that could be it.
