2/2/2025 - why is crypto plummeting so hard right now

Most of my holdings are down on average of between 17% and 25%. Big oof. You reckon it will keep falling or increase after markets settle? Probably because of the impending tariffs or is that unrelated? Thoughts ?

 

tarifffs. Crash the market and buy everything up at bargain basement prices.

 

BTC is up 500% from the beginning of 2023 and we're currently hovering at the ATH; I'd say it's natural state is to drop right now, regardless of any other factors.

Of course it could just keep going higher, or it could pull back and then go higher eventually (probably will), but yeah. I don't think it needs any other reason to be dropping currently.
