Which hatchet am I actually chopping with?

I have above 41 WC. I have an iron hatchet equipped and a rune hatchet in my inventory.. when I chop down trees which hatchet is the one being used?

 

The best one you can use is the one it picks.

 

I'd assume the one you have equipped.

 

Keep in mind I don't have the attack level to equip the rune one.

 

If this isn't just a hypothetical question, why not unequip and bank the iron one? Problem solved.

 

Since I run 200 accs its more convenient for me not to have to unequip the hatchet on each account.

 

It will use the best one you have on you I'm pretty sure.

 

Just take a close look at the color of the hatchet that you're using(the one that's actually doing the chopping). If it's a gray you're using iron, if it's more of a teal it's rune.
