Psychological Insanity Test

Hey there everybody let's play a game. I'm in an advanced psychology class right now and my professor always plays mind games with us. Today, he gave us a "psychopathy test" used over a century ago (Beginning of the 1900's) by psychiatrists. This test is designed to see if you think like a psychopath would, ANSWER IT TRUTHFULLY AS IF YOU REALLY NEEDED TO. Don't try to make a funny joke answer, just answer the first thing that pops into your mind . I will give the "correct" answer later. Here we go:




A girl was at the funeral of her grandfather. A young man came in who was very handsome and they struck up a conversation. They flirted a bit and the girl felt it was love at first sight. The funeral lasted a couple hours and the two departed, however the girl forgot to ask the man for his address and phone number.

A month later the girl killed her only sister. Can you tell me why?

 

1.) clearly that little bitch must of been with him when all along it was "her" man.

2.) The handsome man is her brother. They had a better relationship so she killed her sister.

No idea but I want to know the answer so im going to pm you

So the guy goes to her sister's funeral so they can meet again

If the two anecdotes are interrelated, then the girl killed her sister because the guy and her were in a relationship.

 

Because her sister stole her eyeliner... duh.

I can't stand psychology. I really want to know the answer though so tell us please

Honestly though, she killed her sister so the man would show up to her sisters funeral

The man was obviously a drug kingpin who recently got raided and busted. Since he got sentenced to prison, the woman planned to committing a serious crime to go to prison too, not realizing they were gender separated.

 

Is this the right answer? After reading this one I really can't come up with any other solution :/

 

People will do as they please, and take any classes they please to. I'm sure they will find out it's a useless major, unless you're content on making it into graduate school, which most do not do.

I liked the answer "So she could meet the guy again at the sister's funeral."

At first I assumed it was because it was the sisters husband or something but after seeing some of the comments the obvious answer seemed to be that she killed her sister so she would see him at the funeral.

 

Hey guys, I'm back. The most cynical and "psychopathic" answer is so that the man will come to her sisters' funeral, seeing as he came to her Grandfather's funeral as well
HOWEVER, as someone mentioned, there is no "right" answer. Any answer you give says something about your train of thought and personality.

wow, ur teacher is either very old or not a great psychologist

we do not use the term psychopath anymore. it is now called anti-social personality disorder.

imo, this "test" tells you nothing about any disorder you may have.
it is equal to the failed Rorschach test
