Fair enough for the other 2 quotes but not for this one. I wasn't badmouthing the mods I was simply saying that if someone got scammed for $3 he couldn't care less if the scammer got banned now or in a few days time, most RoS take a few hours to be looked at first time, then a PM is to be sent, then waiting up to 24h for the person to reply, then they argue about it for a bit, then he is banned/not banned. The system works great, but if someone was scammed for his bank and lost 600m, he would be moaning and whining he wants it done quicker which causes more hassle for the already busy moderators.

 

this is to prevent scams from happening, not making the reports easier

Support, was very close to hiring a scammer (obviously without knowing) before being told by someone the person was a scammer.

 

Ive thought of this myself and agree with what a few have already said.

#1- still able to be edited so not actually a legit screenie, harder to do but still very possible

#2- My lil brother has been muted for pm chat that was between me and him, I didnt report em & 99.9% sure that it was jagex monitoring chat at the time, rare but it is done & they muted him for it. So kind of think just typing it in chat box never actually saying out loud is safest for persons account.

Something else ive thought of is maybe vidding a cple kills myself and editing it so persons account not compromised, and solid proof it was me getting

You do realise 90% of people dont want to post their sythe name or any name like that on runescape ? Im paranoid to even say sythe or any of my black market names on rs

 

I personally wouldn't want anyone pressing enter on my account, but that's cause I'm paranoid, so what of the already trusted capers, do we have to press enter from now on? Or is this a one time to prove it thing?

Support. Very good idea, although I think the problem of "old vs new" comes into play. Older, reputable services with 10+ vouches (firecape related) should be given 2 weeks to provide proof of firecape with enter, and a prerequisite for new ones.

 

old people who already have vouches for caping don't need proof because they already have evidence they have done capes (the vouches)

 

It's a good idea but even if you've never seen badly edited before you can still pick out the writing is fucked.

Good idea, will help weed out a good percentage, but what about those people who can still edit it good enough?
